We're getting married in Austria, ours canceled 2 days ago, and now we're looking for another. We found 3 that somewhat fit our budget and shoot a lot of photojournalistic shots.
All of their work looks great from what I have seen on their websites and I can't find reviews anywhere (1 is a vendor on here, but I haven't found nay brides that have used him), and the other 2 are in Germany.
Not sure how to choose...I don't necessarily just want to go with the cheapest, but I dunno what else to base our decision on?!

What happened with Jorg WIndau? Didnt work out? Im sorry....
I would go with someone in Germany, it will save you the trravel costs. Meet with them or speak to them on the phone and see who you like best, personality wise.

Unfortunately I think I jumped into hiring a photographer pretty quickly and Im sorta regreting it. I saw an add in a bridal magazine...Photo/Video network...so we met up with the guy and we booked him...but he kinda made it seem like if we didnt book him that day that he might not be avaliable again..yknow, the typical story they give. So we booked then Ive been hearing mixed reviews about them....

I'm using the photographer and videographer my BF used!! Their work is outstanding and after I saw her proofs and video, I was sold!!!!

O no... Jorg is one of the 3... its just that with travel costs he's about 400€ more than a photographer we found here...who I think would even have an assistant with her to shoot. FH is obviously leaning towards the cheaper one, but the deal from Jorg is way too good for me to just pass up!

Yea, I'm afraid of that happeneing, thats why I've spent the past 2 days looking for reviews and I haven't found ANY. All of their work looks amazing, but ya just never know. And about rushing into it... well, with less than 3 months left for the wedding we are definitely going to move this process along as fast as possible so I can finally relax a bit again.

Our photgrapher first off was on the RH's vendor list. They were the first I went to and their gallery and workt hat they showed me took my breath away I couldn't be happier!

I just went through the same thing last week. I'm getting married in Ireland and my photographer backed out. I got a bunch of recommendations for LIW girls and I met with Golden Moments and loved their work and they very reasonable prices so I went with them! Good luck!

i saw proofs from a wedding she did at my RH and checked out her blog and that was it!!! I LOVE her work. Mariann from blue daisy weddings.

We met with a bunch of them and basically if we liked there work they stayed on the list and price was a factor too, but the biggest thing was being comfortable with them.

I booked the photog that shot my sis's wedding 12 years ago. Her pics came out fantastic and I wouldn't dream of using anyone else. I also asked around the other married's I know who their photog was just in case I couldn't get mine.
