too funny....I was thinking yesterday about starting a similar post because I am curious as well. Everytime I hear someone is getting married, I tell them about the website.
I found out about LIW from a link on The Knot. I didn't join right away because I wasn't used to the format -- it made me dizzy with all the pictures. I was so used the Knottie Bios where everyone had all of their ideas and pics in one spot.
I think the person who's link I clicked on was am470 and her Oheka Castle review.
Now - I could never go back over there - I feel like it's more annoying to get the info I want and the format is not very user-friendly.

I'm pretty sure it was from an advertisement in one of the local bridal mags. Or maybe not, considering I was registered here before I even got engaged!!

searching wedding stuff on google. i do recommend this site too anyone i meet who is engaged. they all tend to look at me funny when i tell them about it though :( ~lacey
