How did you get started scrapping? It seems so complicaated

And I just bought my first 56 piece kit from ebay today for $14 It is for my HM pics and stuff. I'm so excited to do it. There is also a Rag Shop near me so I will have to find time to go over there one day.

When you started did you find it hard?

Yab- you seem like a scraplifter. Just kidding.

I wouldn''t start with wedding pics- I''d do a few pages of the dog or last christmas. Just to get the hang of it and this way you get some practice in first. Its okay to cut santa''s head off but not so good to cut off your bo-k.

Sometimes I find it totally overwhelming.. but with some 'scraplifting' and the inspiration of my LIW scrappers, I take it one crop at a time

I am a new scrapper, and I found it --not difficult, but hard-- I dont know if that makes any sense!!

I would cut out pics and make a page, then I would look at Noras book and get frustrated that mine wasnt as 'professional' looking as hers!!!!

I am getting better though!!! I really need to try to post my pages.. OH and go to scarpbooking Crops.. I went to my first one yesterday and got a ton of great Ideas and materials...

I also suggest starting with other pics first.. especially if you are using cutting devices!! Good Luck!!!

I'm really good at it though!!!

I made cards last night for work-- I resigned and Wed is my last day so I go to show DH and I tell him I scraplifted and he was like 'huh?!' so i pull out the mag that I 'stole' the idea from and he was like oh I get it---
he is learning soo much!!!!
