I originally started the process with a broker but did not have a good experience with him. So we did the work ourselves and went with a bank.

We used a broker who deals w/ banks only. We have Chase Bank.

we used a credit union because all our money is with them and we didnt want to deal with a broker!
We cant really complain we got a good interest rate and less hassle because they have our $$ so we dont have to deal with alot of the bring this statement and this past bill and this old pay stub. But we did have some issues, I think the CUs dont really have the customer service they should!

We got screwed by a soccer mom broker from CountryWide. We could have done the work ourselves and saved the points!!
