that you were in love with FH...how did you know he was going to be the one you spend the rest of your life with?
I knew from the very moment we started dating...I just knew he was genuine..and that the way he treated me then was the way he was going to treat me for years to come.

We were only dating like 2 weeks and he got a job offer in Maryland. I felt like my world was collapsing and all for someone I had only been dating for TWO WEEKS! I cried all weekend when he went to go and scope out the job and town and when he called and told me he wasn't taking the job, I cried even more. I knew than that we were going to be together forever.

We were friends first, so when we started having that weird thing I knew there was something. I KNEW when he came home from work dirty and distgusting and he just looked perfect to me.

I knew I was in love with FH pretty quickly b/c it was so different from all of my past relationships. It was so natural.....I felt like we were already part of the same family. I also knew that he loved me b/c of the way he treated me and by how sensitive he is.....I knew that this is what I wanted in a life partner. I knw it was forever a few months into it......I really was getting to know him and I knew, for sure, that this was the real thing. No games...no torture....just a wonderful decent human being who was as crazy about me as I am about him.
I feel the same way about my FH

I'm not sure. It was pretty soon after we started dating, but, circumstances were a little odd, so I didn't allow myself to admit even to myself I was truly in love with him. When we started dating, my FH was in the process of getting a divorce. However, he was still living with his ex--yeah, I know, odd situation! But they weren't 'living together,' he had wanted to move out as soon as they decided they were getting a divorce, but there was a child involved. His ex had gone back to finish college, and asked him to stay in the house to help with childcare and expenses. My FH loves his son very much, he's the reason their marriage lasted as long as it did. Anyway, five months later she graduated from college, their divorce became final, my FH moved out, and then the ex promptly imported the lover she met on the Internet and married him. I don't think she was single for an entire week. Some women can't stand to be alone. Besides, he's Australian, he needed a green card.
Somewhere in there I realized that I truly loved my FH and that he is the best man I've ever met. That I'd struck the jackpot. A few months later we moved in together, and a year and a day after that we got engaged. And now we're lookng forward to our wedding!

I have told this before but no harm in repeating!
I knew I loved FH because he was funny and sweet and a little weird. I got pregnant - and SUSPECTED that he would be the man I would spend my life with - but I still was not 100% certain.
The day Robbie was born, FH was holding him and he said 'I never thought I would love anyone as much as I love you'. He had tears in his eyes and he was so choked up with emotion and so sincere. Any slight doubt or worry I had ever had just dissipated immediately.
