Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I tried on so many dresses, while my sister took notes,we narrowed everything down..went to lunch, then I saw a new dress..( the one i bought)..but I was too tired to try it on, so I made my sister do it..I LOVED it..when I tried it on..I knew it was it because I felt beautiful in it on a day where I was feeling not so beautiful..my sister started crying and people who were alos there shopping were telling me how beautiful I looked..everything just fell into place...and it just so happens that it was on clearance and it was a AwESOME price..the dress I had originallyw ated was 4,000..it was stunning..but I am so glad I looked around and checked out other dresses..because I saved a bundle!! You'll find it..and have fun doing it..

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I tried on around 40 - 50 dresses......and I found a dress I loved when I went shopping by myself. My mom and sister came shopping with me, and I didn't want to tell them I found the one.....but as soon as I put it on, they new. I tried on about 4 other dresses afterwards and kept comparing it to the one I love. I also knew it was the one b/c everyone in the store came up and said how beautiful I was in it!

I knew it was the dress because it just felt so good on. Plus, this was the dress that both my mother and I cried for the first time. I was able to picture myself walking down the isle in it. Gives me chills thinking about it.

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I literally got stuck in the dress for 25 minutes. You see, the dress zippered up the side and since I have big boobs, it was a little tight but the lady at the bridal place told me to **** it in and zipped it up. When I was ready to take it off, they had to call the seamstrees down to cut out the zipper because it wouldn't budge. Although it was slightly embarassing having the salelady call over the loudspeaker for the seamstress because a 'bride was stuck in a dress', the time I spent in it was enough to let me know that this was the dress for me.

I tried mine on...it was only the second one I tried on. I kept putting dresses on and comparing it to that one that is when I knew. I put it on for my family and bridesmaids and they cried so that made me realize it really was the one.

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I'm a plus size bride & tried on the dress cuz they had it in my size at the salon (a rarity when you're plus size) - I immediately fell in love with it!! I HATED the internet pic & had previously ruled it out. So glad I tried it on.
Then when I heard the price compared to other dresses I liked - I loved it even more!! The dress was half the price of $ I'd budgeted to buy a dress for, so I was I kept thinking about the dress after leaving & brought Moms & MOH back to see me in it & they agreed that it was 'the One'

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
It was only the third dress they brought into me but once I saw it I couldn't take my eyes off it. I kept trying on more but nothing even came close.

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I tried on a dress that I really loved and thought was perfect for me. so the next day I brought my bridal party and my mom back to see it, I didn't want them to know which dress it was so I tried on a whole bunch more and didn't tell them which one was the one. Well, I loved the dress and my family really liked it also, but there was this other dress that was on the mannequin in the window, my first day at the salon I didn't try it on because I thought it was too expensive but that day that I wen't back with my family this girl had it on when I walked in, I thought it looked so amazing (funny cause the girl hated it) so I decided to try it on regardless of the $$. When I put it on I felt like 'OH MY GOD this dress was made for me!' It was totally different from anything else or anything that I envisioned but if felt amazing on me and when I walked out my crew started going crazy. I just knew. The moral of the story is the original dress that I thought was 'the one' turned out to be just a dress I really liked, but I didn't realize it until I put on another dress and felt like it was the only dress in the world for me!

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I went to 2 salons. The first one I felt like I did not find anything. There wasn't one that stood out. But the second time I went, it was the first dress I tried on. After literally trying on about 20 dresses, I kept comparing it to the first one. Then she put the veil on me and the tiara gave me one of the fake boquets and brought me to the beginning of the store. She fluffed out my train put the veil over my face and she told me walk to my mom who was at the end of the salon. Well, I cried, she cried my mom cried. I was sold.

Re: How did you know which dress was 'the one'???
I actually never found the 'one'. I went to a million stores and tried on what felt like a thousand dresses...and nothing ever jumped out at me. I mean I liked some of the dresses but I was always waiting for that one dress to put on so that I could say'This is the one'. Well to make a long story short...i am now having my dress made to include all the things I wanted but never found. Hopefully when I go for my last fiting and see the dress complete I can finally say 'This is the one'
