How did you make your favor tags?

I'm trying to make DIY favor tags-how did you ladies do it? Print them at home? Where did you get the paper from? I'm going ot Kinkos & Kates Paprie (sp) to see if they sell thick cardstock paper I can print them on.

Is it tacky if do a taupe colored paper with black print?

I just made favor tags for my engagement party. I used cardstock from Michaels and used microsoft publisher.

I bought a kit from michaels that was so user friendly. I would recommend doing that.

And I don't think its tacky to use taupe and black ink.

OMG i totally forgot about Michaels!! I was hoping to print the tags up here at work; so that i can start working on the favors tonight. Hopefully Kinkos has inexpensive card stock.

Do you think bed bath & beyond have it? Or even papyrus?

Staples and Office Max have tons of cardstock. You can design the tag in PowerPoint and then transfer the slide to Word. In Word you can use a template for labels and paste the PP slide in word. It's very simple.

Thank you so much! I'm running to Staples during my lunch break to pick up the card stock!

I ordered perforated paper from perforatedpaper.com (you can customize the size, and it comes perforated already so u don't have to cut). All I did was hole punch each one and tie it around the favor.

I printed them at home.
