I've posted this story on here before.... but it's, at least to me, a good one...
We were all back at college for the 2nd semester of our Junior year and my good friend Jay was having a party at his apt. All of our friends were going to be there, including my ex...
We walk in, there are kegs everywhere, I'm looking cute b/c I want my ex to notice me (so pathetic ), all of our friends are there, we're having a great time, but there is this guy there that I didn't recognize.
So I'm hanging out for a little while and then decide to go over to my ex and this guy I'd never seen before to say hello. So I strut over there ( ) and say hi. My ex says 'Oh Kim, this is Aaron, he's a friend from home and just transferred in this semester', so I go to shake his hand and he spills beer alllllllll over me. I was so soaked I had to go home and change (luckily I lived right down the street).
And from that point on, we were inseparable ... As for the ex, who I should mention, didn't want anything to do with me, we didn't speak to him anymore... he was so mad that we hit it off. He was so mean to me, saying that I was just a rebound from his ex-GF and that it would never last and I would just get hurt......
So, we were introduced by my jealous ex and now we're engaged and getting married and couldn't be happier!!

FH was not my type at all when I first saw him, I actually made fun of him with his roommate. I was such a mean girl and that's why he couldn't get enough of me, til now my mouth is getting me in trouble.

no im really going to get them.. its so my personality to get something like that just to spice things up!!!..lol my cousin did it for her wedding she had the same problem with height. and it was so funny!! and u didnt even see them cuz the dress was altered to cover them!

well we were about 14/15 when we met - he had just moved in the neighborhood and starting hanging out with my guy friends. I had a huge crush on him but he showed no interest. One day i *knew* he was at this friend's house so i started talking to the friend online about how i liked him. . . . so the friend kept pretending that FH wasnt there and asking all these questions ( you can imagine how deep they were, we were 15 - like 'how far would you go with him' LOL) anyway so i gave the kid my # to give to FH - he called me that night and asked me to go to the movies - that was almost NINE years ago!

the full story on how we met
i was on aol as i always am and i was in the long island chatroom, he popped into that chatroom and saw my screen name and decided to IM me. we chit chatted for about 20 minutes and then he told me to call him so we could meet up and hang out. He claims he never went on aol but that day his car had a hit and run, and he was very upset about it. I asked what kinda car he had, and he said he had 2 cars, a new convertible eclipse, and a brand new corvette convertible...this peaked my interest lol I was shocked that someone who was 21 could have such nice cars. So he came to new hyde park, i met him at a gas station about a block from my house at around midnite. He pulled up, and it was defin not love at first sight. He had the top down and i made him pull over and put it back up. ( i have long hair and hate wind blowing it all over)
We drove to his office in massapequa, wich had a massive flood, but we talked and found out we had alot in common, then he took me to his boat...he wanted to hook up, but i really really liked him and u know how sometimes (well all the time) if you do something sexual on the first date the guy will probably never call you again. So i made him promise he would call me, and said that he was such a nice guy...we ended up doing way more than kiss and he dropped me off around 5 in the morning.
He called me that day like he promised and we started casually dating. within 2 months we were official and have been inseparable ever since.
I look back on it now, and im such a scaredy cat in my old age, i cant believe i just met a total stranger in the middle of the night like that! i saved our conversation from that nite and i plan on incorporating it into the wedding somehow

we went to HS together, but we didnt know who each other was until 12 grade. Wierd since our HS grad class wasnt that large. But anyway, we use to talk here and there, I asked him to prom and he said no (but he just didnt want to go and didnt go). We ended up having some mutual friends and when we graduated we started hanging out as a group.
We started to hit it off, went to hofstra together (then I transfered after 1st yr), We really were just friends for a while, but we were both really interested in each other, there was that behavior between us that we just knew. He had asked me out 2 times and I said no, I was afraid of losing him as a friend and I think we were still immature. So finally a 2 years later he asked me out, I said yes, and we've been together ever since.
I think back now and I am SOOO glad we didn't go out those first 2 times he asked, I think we needed time to grow up and know what we wanted.

Me and my FH actually met in a club (lol never thought it would happen that way,..theres soo many losers in clubs) but anyway I was 19 and he was celebrating his 21st birthday! We always say that i was his best birthday present!!

I had decided to go on Yahoo Personals for kicks. One day I found his pic with the nicest smile I had ever seen! So I wrote to him and gave him my personal email. He replied asking me to share 'tidbits' about myself and I did - with silly facts like my fav sandwich etc. We did this back and forth-trading crazy facts for about 1 1/2 months before we actually spoke and I set up our first date....which is another story entirely!
So the meeting day came and I waited for him on a bench in Central Park at one of the entrances. I was soooo nervous b/c I had invested so much time and was afraid I would be disappointed or he would be weirdo! It was the complete opposite - we hit it off right away - he was everything he said and more So I showed him around the park (He's from OK/NC). Then we decided to get cappuccinos....everything was still going great! Then we decided to grab dinner and he suggested a seafood restaurant - I didn't mind. It was really nice - he ordered some wine, enjoying dinner -----and then it happened...I had to leave the table b/c I must have had some sort of stomach bug or food poisoning and vomitted (sorry-gross I know) and looked like a disaster when I returned to the table He had paid the check and we left, I took a cab home and called my mom and cried - didn't think he'd call me again!!! But sure enough he did and the rest is history!!

i met him when i was 14 through my boyfriend at the time, so he wound up going out with my best friend for two months and then my bf broke up with me for my best friend( keep in mind we were all 14 and 15 so nothing was serious) and me and him being upset wound up liking each other and 8 1/2 yrs later we are gettin married(obviously lol)
