How did you meet your FH?

I love reading all these stories!

My FH and I were set up on a blind date by two of our friends, who were dating at the time. I had just gotten out of a six-year relationship and was looking for a rebound fling (and look how that turned out!). I was nervous because I hadn't been on a first date for so long, but my friend told me that it was okay, because the reason she was setting us up because we have the same taste in music and both love 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' So if there was ever a lull in the conversation, we'd have something to talk about.

The four of us went to dinner and to see the new James Bond movie, 'Die Another Day.' We talked a LOT that night, and he asked for my number at the end of it, and called me the next day. We talked on the phone every night for the next 2 weeks, until we finally went on a proper date, and... here we are!

Oh, BTW, 'Die Another Day' was Nov. 22, 2002 - our 4 Year Anniversary is in less than two weeks!

i love that you and your fh were beer pong partners!!!! that's kind of the same way my fh and i met!!!! we shared a few friends but i had never met him cuz he was at a diff college at the time. one of his good friends was having a get together and fh was there. he was naming himself as the 'best beer pong player ever' and of course i had to get that out of his head so i played against him with my bf and beat him!!!! hahaha. it was love at first sight!

Yeah, Buffy is awesome! And with seven seasons, plus five seasons of 'Angel', we still always have something to talk about whenever there's an awkward silence.
