How did you meet your FH?

I thought this would be cute

In 2002 I was working at the Milleridge Inn as a waitress and going to school at CW Post. One of the other waitresses, Denise, said she knew a guy who I'd be perfect for (Denise is FH's BIL's sister) . I said, 'OK, give him my number' and figured we'd go on a blind date. Months passed I forgot all about it. Then one day, I got a call from the guy and he asked me to hang out. He lived an hour away but said he'd pick me up and everything. My friends all came over, helped me get ready, and as such, dressed me in an outfit I'd never wear! I was a nervous wreck! After we played pool we went down to the beach where I proceeded to get a ziptie stuck so tight around my finger that he had to slice it off with a razor blade

Three days later, we were a couple. It was 4 years in April

What a story!! By the way, my family loves Milleridge Inn...we're there for every holiday!

FH and I met through our parents. Our parents met at a wedding of a mutual friend and both moms started talking and one thing led to another and my mom had ended up giving FMIL my email address. The next day FH emailed me and we went back and forth through emails for a few days and then started talking on the phone and then a week and a half we went on our first date! We've been together ever since!

no joke... we met at a funeral.

we had been online friends for many years...a mutual IRL friend died ... we both went to the funeral and met each other...

and then became very very very close IRL friends... and then 4 months later started dating... and 2 months after that were engaged...

and now we're the happiest weve ever been ... ever.


and p.s. the way you both met your FHs is adorable, and i love it!

We met while we were working for the Baltimore Orioles when I was in college in MD. The funny part is that I'm the biggest Yankee fan you'll ever meet, and my FH hates the Yankees

Anyway, we met while working in the ticket office together. We were friends for about 4 months or so and realized there was something more there. Over 3 years later and we're engaged and planning our wedding!

High 5 to all my online ladies!!!! I too met FH online... Just searchin through aol profiles one day and IMed him... So random! Its been 6 1/2 yrs since

I met FH through another guy!!!! LoL

It was the spring of my freshman year in college and I met this guy and we started 'talking' He would always bring up his friend and how I have to meet him and how funny his friend was. Well one day we were hanging out and I met his friend (FH) and he was as funny as he said he would be.

Now here is where the saga begins.... LoL... the guy I was 'talking to' decided to talk to me and get back with his girlfriend... I finally found out b/c of all the mutual friends we had, and I took it pretty bad (i was so stupid!) Anyway, FH was the shoulder i cried on. All my friends (including the guy I was 'talking to') were pushing us to get together... I kept on saying 'no, no way not with him!'

Then, Sept. 11 happened.... my FH is a volunteer firefighter and was called down to help at Ground Zero. That was the moment I realized how much he meant to me. Before he went down, he called me and told me 'Just remember that I made this phone call to you.' At that time no one knew what was happening. That was one phone call I will never forget.

Not to long after that, we made it official.... and well now i am here writhing a very long post!!!!

one of my super best friends in highschool and i stopped talking after school ended in 01. in 05 we met up again and were like inseperable. Turns out, my FH was her husband the time. Me and him started talking online here and there and became really close, as me and her were gaining more distance. They were having major problems and hated eachother. She was dating someone else that i HATED, which was causing the distance between us.

She got pregnant by the guy and moved out of their apartment. we completely stopped talking, and me and Frank kept talking and just started really liking eachother, so we hung out alone one night and that was it.

Needless to say, I told her we were hanging out and she flipped out and hates us both lol

She had her baby with the other guy about a month after me and frank started dating. Which will be a year next month

i know!! but somehow it works for us, i already knew his son so there was no worrying about getting along with him and what not. and there was no pressure to get to know eachother and yada yada b/c we already knew eachother. it just worked out so well. I told him he got off easy in his divorce, she didnt get a lawyer, i said if we ever get divorce it will be nothing like that, so he should just agree with everything i say for the rest of our lives to avoid that =) lol

Wow mine is boring compared to all of yours!

We actually knew eachother in high school and had a mutual friend who was also my neighbor, so we started hanging out more and more and 4.5 years later here we are! lol

We met in 9th grade when he got switched into my math class....we became really good friends and we started dated in 10th grade on New Years Eve....and have been together ever since. I can't believe it will be 12 years this year!!! See pics of us when we were younger in my album.

I actually met future husband on a 4th of july by one of my best friend (she was friend w/ FH because he was the cusin of her ex-boyfriend and she kept been friend with FH) kind of complicated.... well then we became friend and EVERYONE was o you should get together he likes you bla bla.... I said that I will NEVER go out with a guy with tattooes and earing ( I come from Dominican Republic and I'm not used to that and FH have both things) well FH kind of got me with his charmed and know 2 years later we are starting to plan a wedding
