In 2002 I was working at the Milleridge Inn as a waitress and going to school at CW Post. One of the other waitresses, Denise, said she knew a guy who I'd be perfect for (Denise is FH's BIL's sister) . I said, 'OK, give him my number' and figured we'd go on a blind date. Months passed I forgot all about it. Then one day, I got a call from the guy and he asked me to hang out. He lived an hour away but said he'd pick me up and everything. My friends all came over, helped me get ready, and as such, dressed me in an outfit I'd never wear! I was a nervous wreck! After we played pool we went down to the beach where I proceeded to get a ziptie stuck so tight around my finger that he had to slice it off with a razor blade
Three days later, we were a couple. It was 4 years in April

We met through a mutual friend that was his ex best friend... Once FH and I started dating she couldn't take it and told him to choose her as a best friend or me.... And guess what he choose It worked out for us.. I love him sooo much and we realized that she wasn't really a friend to either one of us

I met my FH online also. I never meant to meet anyone online but my Friend was meeting a guy and wanted me to look at this guys profile and before I knew it I was looking for guys for me.
Well I met Alex and now almost 4 years later we are still together. At first I was in school in Providence and him in Boston and then after college I moved to Boston and now we are moving back to Long Island!! (I am already here)

Fh and I met on Thanksgiving Eve at a bar... jackie reillys in bethpage. I was with my friends and i was looking around I saw him and said to my friend 'oooo hes cute' so shes like you want to talk to him and i was like i dont know..... so what does she do... goes up to him brings him over to where i was and was like 'this is my friend Colleen' and we started talking and 5 1/2 years later we are getting married!!!!

I meet him at a bar in RVC on Aprils fool's Day!!!!! I had seen him there and always said I'd meet him. I took my friend out for her b-day, I almost didn't go and, we meet finally that night. He had seen me there a few times as well and said he would meet me one day, Here we are two and 1/2 yrs later stressing on what RH we want!!!

We met at work. And we still work together, 2 jobs, college, and we go to the gym together we are always together.

We met at work in 2001. I was interning and he was an employee. We became really good friends and one thing led to another and we went through very difficult times. We became official on our trip to the Bahamas 2 years ago and he proposed this past May.

I met my Fh while I was walking my dog. He was with his mother's dog. His back was turn to me so I thought that it was his brother. I would always make fun of how much a 'punk' the dog was. So, I started off with the mouth and when he turned around I was shocked to learn it wasn't the brother. I apologized endlessly and he was a good sport. So, everyday since that day he would always speak. And, it took off from there. A couple of months later I ask him if he wanted to go with me to the movies to see Shrek. We did and then the next night he took me out to an All you can eat buffet and it progressed from there.

Well I transfered to SUNY Albany my sophomore year and joined the on campus student ambulance core to meet people. Well the night before training started for the ambulance I was invited to go out to the bar with a few people in my dorm that I had become friends with. Well I didn't know that one of the reasons they were inviting me out is because they had invited their friend scott who had a crush on me apparently. Well I get to the bar with them and scott is there and i sorta knew him already and he is like really gross. Well the entire night he's trying to hit on me and getting drunker and drunker and i'm pretty much just ignoring him. However Scott did bring one of his suitemates named Brody who was rather cute so I spent pretty much the entire night talking to him. While talking I found out he actually had just joined the ambulance core as well and was going to orientation the next day. Well we spent the rest of the night talking and scott continued to get drunk and pissed that I was talking to his suitemate rather than him. Well Brody and I went to the orientation the next morning and hung out a lot. Unfortunately I found out he was dating someone already but we became best of friends and were always together. I started dating someone and though we were both taken we always told eachother just how much we loved one another. I knew then that he was the man i was supposed to marry. Eventually after 3 1/2 years I broke up w/the guy I was dating and Brody broke up with his girl friend and finally we got together!!!!!
