Ill go first: I met him while we were both working at Target in our senior year in high school but we didnt start dating until 2 years later.

I was renting an apartment from one of his friends he lived wit/rented a room from.
Funny part is he told me he didn't date people who lived in the same place or women who had kids.... Needless to say I have the ring!

I met him at a party in December 2005. I was not interested in getting in a relationship at the time because I was interested in someone else; it did not work out between me and him. We meet again at a party in August 2006 and we started dating in September 2006.

We 1st met back in 2006 through a mutual friend. We were just friends. Then we lost touch for a while. Last yr in the summer I came across his fb page and we got back in touch. A cpl months later he told our mutual friend to put in a good word with me bcuz he liked me. We talked over the phone and text for a few wks then went on our 1st date in Sept 2010. Made it 'official' a month later on Oct 30th 2010

We were in the same physics class in highschool and actually had to sit next to each other because both of our names start wit 'Mo'... I moved my seat because I thought he was boring! Lmao.. He sent me a message on facebook a year after we graduated, went on a date, and the rest is history!

We met at a Renaissance Faire through mutual friends after I cut my freshman orientation at college (without knowing it) in 2002. When a group of us went out to a pizzeria afterwards for food, he was hitting on me and friends called him off - because I was still dating my high school sweetheart.
We were then friends for a long time - in fact, friends who asked to date him I told not to because he was a Player - loved playing the field. Before he settled down.
Now 9 years later... FH has been through one broken engagement, multiple relationships later and both of us have lived in several states..
we're back on LI and engaged.

A girl I worked with wanted was sent an amazing bouquet on valentines day, so jokingly i asked if he had any brothers for me. Sooo she tried to set me up with her bf's brother (Matt!!!). He told her he wasn't really interested and she kept trying to push it (found out later that he can't stand her and figured he'd hate her friends too) 10 days later I meet this boy at mulcahys, and after talking for a bit, told him where I worked, blah blahblah, and realized that this is the guy she was tryin to set me up with! On our first date he ran the spiel ' I'm not looking for anything serious, I don't plan to ever get married, I never want kids...' as I'm like, 'whatever, guy...you must not know 'bout me! I'll be over you in a week.' Even still, the night was just different with him. After giving my mom the briefing of the date, she smiled and said 'I think you're going to marry him' Despite his macho talk, he started something serious, put a ring on it and even has mentions of the offspring!

funny story...
my dad and i were out driving around on a saturday afternoon and we stopped in a new restaurant to grab a bite to eat and my FH was in between jobs and waitering at the time in the restaurant...we were the only table in the place and he and my dad hit it off totally...i barely said two words the whole time...we then brought my mom back for dinner a few nights later and again he totally schmoozed with my parents and we barely spoke...he wound up giving my dad a business card with his cell phone on it and told him anytime he wanted to come down, to just call him personally and he would take care of us...we walked out that night and my dad handed me the business card saying you know this is for you, not me right? and i was like what r u talking about? he's like did you see the way he was looking at you?? i thought he was crazy...obviously not because we left for vacay to Greece a few days later and when we came back i texted him (a realllly corny text btw) against anything i would normally do and we set up a time to hang out and from then on it was history! my dad called it the whole time!

I started renting a room in a house that he was already living in with another roommate...the first time I went to look at the house I left there telling all my friends how great the house was and that a really cute guy lives there...but I promised myself that I would not hook-up with a roommate...I didn't want the house to turn into something out of The Real World...lol. Anyway the day I moved in he helped me paint my room and we just hit it off from there...it took a few months before we made it 'official'...but I knew from the moment I met him that he was the one!!!
