We worked in the same law firm. After about a year that I was working there we became friends and about 4 months later we started dating. We were the good office gossip for a while! This was about 2 and a half years ago.

I was working there, and he came in on his first day working there...It was funny b/c the first time I met him I was wearing a long sleeved collared shirt and an apron that went down to my knees!!!!

I met my FH at work.
I am an RN he was an EMT at the time, (he is currently a Paramedic).
He was picking up one of my patients. His partner and my friend (another nurse on the floor) hooked us up!!!

I fell for him immediately
Met at North Shore Unvierstiy Hospital in Manhasset

i met fh through my sister when i was 17. i was a jr. in high school and my sister was a sr. we had the same group of friends growing up. So one night when my parents were out and they specifically told us no friends over, we had our friends over for the sr. scanvenger hunt anyway. Well my parents came home early and we were caught. SO we were sort of grounded. The only way we were allowed out is if we were together and it wasn't with the friends we had over the night we weren't supposed to have friends over. SO my sister wanted to go out with this guy she worked with but wasn't allowed out w/o me. so she took me with her and the guy she worked with took FH. then 7 1/2 years later FH proposed!!

I met my FH through my sister and her (then boyfriend) He was his best friend. We didn't get serious until three years after we met and 5 1/2 years later he proposed! My sister's boyfriend is now her husband and the best man at our wedding! my sister is the matron of honor!

I love him! as we speak he is doing the dishes...what a man!

Blind date...
my BF & his friend worked togther...he lived overseas for work when we first met but came to NY alot for business, so we spoke on the phone & e-mailed a bit before meeting...first date June 26, 2001, did the long distance thing for awhile, then he moved back here end of 2001...and the rest is history

Bill and I met on match.com. Back home, meeting online was very popular! I am so glad I did it!!!! I was sooooooo sick of blind dates that my friends set me up on and HATED the club scene......

We met in July 04

I was really shy and had the biggest crush on him all throughout H.S., I was in a really bad accident in my senior year and I realized that life is too short and asked him to the senior prom and we've been together since

Our families are friends, so there was always that connection.

However, we first met at his uncle's Italian restaurant.

And the rest is history!

oh....and we met in 2002.

internet dating. Talked for a month then met in person. He moved in 2 months later. Took us 3.5 years to get engaged (I was commitment phobic). We get married on our 5 year anniv.
