So we started out thinking we wanted to get married in Oct. After looking at last RH's we started talking about Jan. Mainly due to price difference. We both went to college upstate so we both are okay with winters (him a little more then me!!).
But I can't decide. I think the fall is more appealing to me because we're getitng married at RH and I think i want the ceremony to be outdoors as well as CH.
How did you ladies decide???

Our dating anniversary is in February and we wanted a year to plan, so we got engaged on our 3 year dating anniversary which was 2/3/08 and now we are getting married almost exactly a year later 2/7/09! February is a really special month to us so that is how we decided. Also, we are going on a Caribbean cruise and will be getting back home on Valentine's day. So that is also very special to us!!

I chose January because I wanted a winter wedding, the prices are significantly cheaper (almost half) than the summer, and FH is in the boating canvas business so he is super busy this time of year! GL & HTH

We started off thinking October too but when January because it worked best with FH's schedule. And now that we're seeing all the price cuts we're getting because it's the off season we know we definitely made the right choice. We wouldn't be able to go to the RH of our dreams or get half of the stuff we're getting otherwise.

We picked based on price, weather, and how soon we wanted to marry. I wanted to save my parents as much money as possible for the RH. I also looked to see what flowers were in season in April and what kind of colors I could use. Those were all factors in our decision.

I picked based on weather and proximity to our birthdays and going to school. So september was perfect for us.

We wanted the look of Christmas without the 'price' of Christmas. Having a wedding in December is almost as pricey as having a wedding May-September. So, we're getting married 2 days after New Years. All of the Christmas Decor will still be up and we're getting all of the January discounts.

I always wanted October... for some reason it's my favorite month..... you can still be outside usually but it won't be unbearably hot. I love fall and the leaves changing.
I lucked out and got a really good deal for october so I took it! So happy!

My cousin is getting married in the spring so I wanted ours to be at least a few months after his. Fh and I were thinking towards the end of the summer and its what we got. The price was right for the day before labor day. It kind of just worked out for us.

Aww. Thanks. Hehe. I made sure to look at the Fox Hollow while they were still set up for Christmas. It really is so pretty. Christmas is my favorite time of the year.

FH and I were kind of forced in to a summer month since he's a teacher. We were thinking about trying to do it during a school break and going on a honeymoon some other time but it’s just easier (and more expensive! :P) this way.
Summer is my favorite season and I probably would have wanted July anyway. Well I would have preferred June but July is close enough.

Hi Date Twin!!!!!
We just wanted to get married in the fall. Although when we were pricing out RHs, we were offered the cheaper season but after much thought, we followed are hearts and went w/ what we wanted...a fall wedding despite of the price difference.
and we picked columbus day weekend for the ease of the holiday for our guests.

We chose September as we figured out that we would have enough money saved by then oh and our wedding date will be 09/09/09 and we thought that was cool!!

kinda fell into feb... everything was booked for the summer and we couldnt wait till summer or fall of 09 so we were like vday will be cute
