How did you pick your dress?

I'm stuk between 2 very different dresses and I can't decide! How did you ladies know your dress was 'the one'?

I went with my mom and MOH and when they couldn't stop gushing about it and also all the other people in the store (customers) were telling me. Also I didn't want to take it off, just wanted to keep twirling around in the mirror!
I didn't cry or anything though.
