How did you pick your Honeymoon?

FH and I just met with a travel agent today and, after listening to 1.5 hours about Tahiti, I'm not feeling it so much anymore. I think I'd be happy ANYWHERE that had palm trees and nice beaches and I don't need to spend so much $$$$ to do it.

So, I was wondering how you all decided on your honeymoon destination and, if you were considering a cruise, why you decided to do it or not to do it? Also, what spots/hotels would you recommend? Thanks!!!

scott and i will be heading for paris. we love french food and the structure of every old building there. (i've been, he's never been)
we went to hawaii a couple of years ago and it was very touristy where ever we went. it was great the first few days but after that it was hte same. a lot of ppl on the beach running around.. don't get me wrong here.. we love the warm weather and the deep blue sea also... we were just at a point where we wanted to do something else other than the same stuff everyday. i know it's suppose to be relaxing but you have do something.
