We both love the fall & want a fall themed wedding, and I am very specific with dates so 11.11 just flowed right. and we wanted time to save for the wedding so 3 years landed 11.11 on a sunday and it was just perfect

I wanted mid july... because that is when most of my OOT family comes to visit anyway....
it was the 16th or 17th... i decided on the 16th because of the price difference between fri and sat...

We love autumn too. We were engaged in October so we decided to have an October wedding as well (not knowing at the time it's one of the busiest wedding months). Not to mention our date falls directly in between both of our bdays and just before my 30th! I always had this thing where I wanted to be married with children before 30. We have the child and this way I get to be 29 on my wedding day too!!!

It's a slow week for my DJ and I know I could get a deal with vendors for that specific weekend cuz of the Jewish Holiday.

We originally wanted September 2010 but he's Muslim and Ramadan falls during that time next year. We weren't too big of July/beginning of August because it'd be hot...so we looked at June.
I needed even numbers because I like them more; we found that Sundays were WAY cheaper...Father's Day at our RH was available at a great discount, it was even numbers, it meant I could be a June bride...and there you have it.

We both love the fall, but wanted a wedding when it would still be warmish out. Then, based on the Jewish holidays and the availability of our place, we ended with 10/2, which happens to be 5 days after our 5th anniversary together.

We wanted something mid-Sept to mid-October due to the nice weather. So we basically had 4 weekends to play with.

Its wa my grandfather's birthday. Our original anniversary date is on the 12th of a month and we met in 01' and flip that you get 10'

We usually take vacations in August, before school starts back and I wanted my wedding date to be the last big thing everyone did for summer!! Also, I found out later that my grandparents were married on 8/20/1956!

My sister is getting married in May 2010, figured we'd give my family a break an wait until the fall Oct/Nov. When we were looking, I realized daylight savings starts Nov 7th and it would have to be after that in order to have enough time for pictures. So we went with Nov 5th-which turns out to be the day before my grandparent's anniversity, so I think that will bring us luck!

Not too romantic....my DH gets 4 weeks vacation per year, but he picks LAST, so he gets whatever weeks are left over. The week of July 25th was 'left' so he picked it. PS coincidentally, it is also my sister's (MOH) wedding anniversary, so we thought that was a good sign!

We definitly wanted the summer and since I'm a teacher we didn't want something toward the end of summer. My best friend has her anniversary on the 24th so I wanted to stay away from that day and Julky 4th weekend. That pretty juch left the last weekend in July open so we asked when we went to the chucrh if July 31st was free and it was so we chose that.

FI and I are beach/summer lovers. I teach so I didn't want June.....we went for July...we wanted around the middle like the 16th....but FMIL teaches in England and they do't get out until the 23rd of July, which now happens to be the day she's retiring.....so in order to keep it in July- we had to go with the last day so that everyone has time to fly in from England......crazy....not romantic in any way haha

We knew we didn't want the winter because it has precipitated on EVERY major life event I've ever had, and rain is easier to deal with than a blizzard... FH can't deal with the heat, and though I preferred a weekend in June to take advantage of the outdoor cocktail hour spaces, he complained that when his bro got married at the end of May it was too hot... so, we went with May 1!
