We both love the fall & want a fall themed wedding, and I am very specific with dates so 11.11 just flowed right. and we wanted time to save for the wedding so 3 years landed 11.11 on a sunday and it was just perfect

well I wanted a week of celebrating and since my date falls on the wek end of a holiday a lot of ppl would be off work so i went with it....I orginally wanted to be a june bride!

i went around school schedules. we weren't sure if FH would be done with grad school (it turns out that he got the classes he needed, so he will be done in Dec ). If he hadn't finished, it would have been his spring break. I'm a teacher and it also coincides with easter week.
We got engaged February 28 this year. We wanted to get married as soon as possible and the max length engagement we were willing to have was 1 1/2 years. We also wanted to have mild weather.. Not too cold, not too hot. I thought about having it this November but that would have given me 7 months to plan and I was scared it would be too much stress. So then I dropped that idea and we decided to shoot for April or May 2010. April was cheaper so we picked April.

It had to be on a Sun so I was looking at holiday weekends. We wanted it to be warm, but not hot hot so 4th of July and Memorial Day was out (too chilly)
So Labor Day weekend it was!!

We wanted May 2, 2010 (our two year anniversary) but FSIL got engaged before us and wanted a May wedding, so that was out. I knew I wanted a summer '10 wedding so that my grandparents had the best chance possible to be there (they live in florida and can't fly up during the winter due to health issues)...it couldn't be June since that was too close to FSIL's wedding (although to her we are too close to her wedding date since we are getting married in the same year as her...)....so we ended up settling on July 18, 2010....I like it because 7 is a lucky number and 18 is a lucky number in Judaism so we have 2 lucky numbers

I wanted to be engaged for 2 years and since I have bad allergies I figured early fall would be the best b4 all the leaves fall so we picked mid oct. plus my bro was going to get married 10/9/10 but canceled it and didnt want to close to halloween so we picked the 15!

June 22 is the day we met & I love June but hate being HOT so I didn't want to go too far into the month. So I figured I'd stick with the one '2' & also 2 is my favorite #..I've loved Derek Jeter since I was 11 haha.. it's ok though FH has a thing for A-ROD

we wanted dec bc of christmas and we lovee the way fox hollow is decorated. we also wanted a sat night, but didnt want too far into dec so we picked the first sat of dec lol

its FHs and I anniversary. so we'll have been together for exactly 6 years when we say i do we decided to do this because the date landed on a saturday and we'd never get confused about our anniversary date lol
