Well my parents were with us. Then my dad preceded to take advantage of his free long distance on his cell phone & call every family member around the country!! LOL Then I called everyone screaming and crying like a freak!! LOL FH told my mom and dad (obviously) and my brother and sis in law--i think he told one of our friends as well...but he swore my mom to secrecy so I could tell my granparents and cousins and everyone!! It was so much fun!!!!

It happened pretty late at night so we only went to my mom's house (my dad had already known he was going to propose). The next day I woke up early and went around visiting the rest of my friends and family!

I called a few close family members and friends from my cell phone while on vacation. The rest was just word of mouth.

I spread the word slowly but as soon as my mother found out she called just about every person she knew.

I called everyone I knew and screamed into the phone!

Everyone knew. We had been together almost 7 years and living together for 2. I was staying at my parents house the week we got engaged, he picked up the ring on Monday and by the time he proposed on Thursday everyone had already seen the ring. It was a very nice surprise. Most people reacted by saying that it was about time.

My Fh has a BIG mouth and told everyone that we know but I am very suprised that no one slipped..

We called everyone from our hotel at Disney World! It was torture not being able to show the ring to anyone for 9 days though! I stopped random people at Disney just to tell people! LOL!!!

I spent three days calling everyone I knew only to have more than half of my friends and family scream at me, I KNOW TOO!!!! FH had told almost everyone who would listen that he was going to propose. It was really great having all these people tell me how excited he was planning our engagement!

Everyone knew before he did it! He asked my parents for their blessing first, then showed the ring to my sister. Then he told his parents and my best friend. Then I had a birthday party for him and he showed everyone at the party the ring! (I had no idea!) Everyone knew he was doing it, but they didn't know when. The night he proposed I called everyone!

called and told everyone I knew within minutes. Parents were out of town so we celebrated with FI parents in NYC at Four Seasons. Lost something like 4 ibs that week - was so excirted.

All of our friends were there and new for months about FH's plan. My parents and his parents already new too (He asked my Dad ) I still called my Dad and started crying as soon as I heard his voice!
