How did you tell your DH you were ready?

We've talked about getting pregnant in the past before the wedding. I've also been looking for a job on long island and haven't landed one yet...

Anyway, I really want to seriously start trying, but I'm afraid that it will 'freak out' my DH. He is so nervous to be a parent. So am I, but I'm ready.

What is the best way to approach this conversation? TIA

We just both were. But we had spoken during our enagement of when we would like to have our family.

I also had a chemical pregnancy a month prior while I was on the pill. Dh and I were real excitied when I got a positive result and then very upset when we found out I was no longer pregnant. We both knew we were ready right there because we were so disappointed. So I threw out my pills. I had stopped them when I got the positive result anyway then got my period then just never took them again and when AF was due the following month we were pregnant.

Well, I told DH I was ready when we moved into our house in July. He at that point said he wasn't, wanted to be settled etc...then we kept seeing our friends with babies, etc making it work...i guess he was scared at first but then figured if they can do it, so can we and he shocked me one night by saying 'lets make a baby!'

DH approached me first on the subject and told me he was ready when I was. I thought about it for about two weeks in my head before I came back and told him I was ready to start trying. That was a right before the wedding...I then learned I would be ovulating on our HM so we started trying then and there. Our wedding night was the first time we ever had unprotected nookie
