How did you tell your families?

How did you tell your families?

Did you tell the good news to everyone at once? Did you tell his and your parents separately? Also, what about grandparents and siblings?

I thought about this so many times before but not when it's actually happening I just don't know...

I feel like everyone deserves a special treatment and needs to be told separately but than how do you decide who to tell first? I was thinking my parents, but I feel that my grandmother who raised me shouldn't be left for second...

I am confused! I need to hear some cute stories about how you did it so I can figure things out!

I always thought that I would love to bring it up really nonchalantly with my parents and just say something like, 'So, what do you want to be called?' And when they say what, I would say 'Well, Gramdma and Grandpa, Nanny and Papa....? We've got 9 months to figure it out'

I'm not pregnant, but my SIL is with her second. With the first, she wrapped up grandma and grandpa books and had her parents open them. For me and my husband she gave us Aunt and Uncle cards (it was Easter when we found out). With the second, she brought her mom to their guest room b/c she 'wanted her opinion on a new comforter' and said do you think we should put the crib in that corner or there?
