How did you word the blocked hotel rooms that went into inviteds or STD's!!!!!!

I feel like everyone will get the idea to call the hotel...especially if you mention that you got a fixed rate for them... hope this helps

I think hotels sometimes have something that you can include with the invitation. Maybe you can just get a direction card and on the back of that say something like, 'Rooms are being held until (date) at a discounted rate. Please call hotel, (phone #), for details and reservations.' I don't think it should be anywhere on the actual invitation. Just my opinion.

the hotels have little cards they can give you about rooms being blocked.

otherwise, i put

'X' rooms are blocked off at XYZ Hotel for the rate of $xxx. a night (plus tax). To reserve your room at this rate please call the hotel at 555-5555 by 12/12/2002.

(I put down 1 to 2 weeks before the hotel actually DID have the cut off date just to make sure people remembered to do it).

My hotel gave us cards to put in the STD's. I will let them call and find out pricing and such!

My hotel gave us cards with our names and all the hotel info on them. I put them in the invites.

i typed up a little explaination and put it on a card to be enclosed in the STD with all of the information about the hotel options for my guests and the information about booking them.
My STD was an invitation and I put the hotel information on what would have been the response card and put it a little envelope which i wrote 'hotel information' on
