How did your make-up hold up?

Congrats ladies on your weddings!!!!

I am having 2nd thoughts about my makeup artist, but chose her because she offers airbrush in my area.

Can you please let me know if you did Traditional or Airbrush and how the makeup held up? Also, if you can recommend your makeup person that would be a hge help.

I had airbrush done by M*I*A. I swear I woke up the next morning and my makeup was still on. I wore my fake eyelashes until I got to Antigua for our HM which was 2 days after the wedding. I have never been happier with my makeup. EVER.

Marie Katz did my airbrush and it lasted all night....she did it at 12:00 and by 12 that night i still looked flawless and not greasy..I tend to get super shiny after a few hours but it held up..LOL

I didn't use airbrush. My skin looked beautiful all night and it held up and it was a decently warm day, though thankfully not humid. My trial also held up in the city all day in a cold, snowy winter day.

My eye makeup however started to smudge under my eyes, but that happens to me all the time because I touch my eyes a lot.

Make sure no matter what you do you have someone at your wedding checking your makeup for you and have makeup to reapply with you at the reception.


As for makeup artists, I loved mine. I used Sue, who has set up shop at A Woman's Way in East Islip. She does beautiful work. She also got my eyebrows in shape for the wedding and does laser so she helped get rid of some dark hair for a few months leading up to the wedding.

I had the airbrush and it looked great. It felt so light so I didnt feel like I had a lot of makeup on and it lasted all night. I was so happy with it.

I used airbrush and my makeup artist is located in westchester where I got married as well. I loved her work!! FM if you want her info.

I used airbrush and it held up all night. I am also someone who suffers from bad acne and it covered everything perfectly up until the end!
