I am having 2nd thoughts about my makeup artist, but chose her because she offers airbrush in my area.
Can you please let me know if you did Traditional or Airbrush and how the makeup held up? Also, if you can recommend your makeup person that would be a hge help.

I went with Traditional because my DH hates when I look too made up, so I wanted to look natural.
It held up *great*-- I was even surprised that night that I had to use the remover she gave me because my skin just looked flawless, not made up really. The only thing I had to reapply a few times was the lip gloss which she gave me a small container of to use and my MOH kept with her all day.
I did trials with both airbrush and traditional and DH said I looked the best with traditional. I let him choose what he liked the best. it lasted all day and night and it drizzled for my ceremony and nothing came off. I found the airbrush too cakey for me personally and DH hates it when I wear makeup.
I used Sachiko Yanese and my bp and family used Jac beauty and their makeup was flawless as well.

I used traditional and not only did it hold up from 11 am till 3:30 am BUT I had to scrub it off when we finally got to our hotel room at 3:30 in the morning!

I used Jaqueline Nicole and she used airbrush. my makeup was perfect until i washed it off!

I did traditional foundation as opposed to airbrush. I prefer the glowy, dewy look. My makeup held up for 12 hours straight! I barely had a smudge under my eye. I never had to touch up my eyeshadow for creasing, and my foundation stayed put all day and night! My makeup artist is the BEST though. FM me for her info.

I used airbrush and my makeup was still perfect when I washed it off. It was hot and humid and I danced all night and my make up still looked amazing at the end of the night.

I did trials with both and loved the traditional. I had it done @ 12 and it held up for over 12 hrs. My face also shines and you couldnt tell with the makeup.

I had both traditional & airbrush. Love traditional way more than airbrush. Traditional makeup lasted me all night. Makeup was put on at 2pm and lasted until 1:00 am in the morning. Airbrush is too cakey for me .

I had airbrush done...at first I was skeptical about it b/c I thought it would look cakey..however I tried it for my trial and LOVED it! My makeup last all day/night through the sweating/tears etc. Totally worth it!

We did our own make-up and mine was traditional, very natural looking, and it lasted all day. I think it just matters the quality of the make-up itself and if certain things (like mascara, eyeliner, etc.) are waterproof.

My makeup didn't budge!
All I needed was powder to blot shine, and to touch up my lips but here's the list of products I used:
i used marie katz. she did airbrush, i LOVED IT! lasted all night, looked light and fresh and flawless. i chose airbrush after three trials of tradition and then airbrushing... for me, it felt less heavy and looked more natural.

i did traditional & my make up artist is a friend that does make up for the Emmy's & VMA's etc. It held up just fine. Actually my makeup at the end of the night looked just as good as the day time.
I had airbrush for my wedding at it looked amazing 15+ hours.
Here is my take on it. If your makeup artist, or yourself is applying the makeup properly and using the right prodcuts your makeup should last all day no matter how it is applied.
I had trials with both and I booked the person who did my eye makeup the best.
