How did you/will you book your honeymoon?

Original post by JanuaryBride06

Through a travel agent or a website like expedia or travelocity?

We will use a travel agent. So far all of the agents on this site have been really helpful.

I think we're leaning towards a honeymoon specialist travel agent. We'd like to go to Tahiti but I don't know if it's going to happen....we also want some more ideas for March (no caribbean)

We're probably using Direct Line Cruises...(travel agency only for cruises,in Hauppauge)
they offer free travel insurance with any booking.

The other portion of our honeymoon is easy. Just flying down to the Key West and staying in a hotel. Probably going to book airfare to FL online though. (That's easy enough) and a rental car too. then we plan on driving to Miami and boarding our Cruise!!!! so excited

We did it directly through Royal Caribbean. We went to a travel agent to compare and she gave us info and prices but told us that RC doesn't allow them to give discounts. So we went straight to the source.

Hell if I know whats going on with this honeymoon thing.

FH is supposed to do it and he hasn't. He is good under pressure though. I assume that he will have to work through the American Airlines miles rewards program because my mother is giving us her miles for us to use. I cannot get worked up about things that are out of my control.

Part of it is my FMIL's time share so that part she'll have to book, the rest I'll price online and then maybe go to a travel agent and see what gives me the better price.
