It's funny...being on the boards for a couples of months now...I've looked through so many links...
and it always seems that everyone knows each other personally....Did you all meet before LIW?? Also, when looking at peoples wedding pictures...I see LIW girls there......
How does everyone know each other so well!? I've been so curious :)

Leese is my MOH.. Bf from High school Kris&Chris.. taught summer school together Misiwa- worked together, told me about LIW Divabride- first met a show, then wound up doing RCIA with her. Meg Shea- went to elem. school with her sister, did RCIA with her FH
Mainly GTG's but after a year of talking to people you just feel a bond.

I think I answered this recently, but I'll say it again. I've known Jan05Bride for many, many years. Her cousin is one of my best friends (my friend & I grew up next door to each other, so I saw Jan05bride at lots of family/neighbor functions.) She is a wonderful person and lots of fun (that bachelorette party in the Hamptons comes to mind ) But I was already on LIW when we discovered we were both on.
I met Divabride and Kimberlybride at a showcase last fall at Oheka castle.
Can't wait to go to a GTG to meet everyone else!

I don't know a sole... I'm not originally from LI (moved here a few years ago). Just joined the board in Feb...have yet to go to a GTG...

Awww Susan! I was so happy to learn that you were already on LIW. Lots of good times growing up We're going to make the next bachelorette party even more memorable Be prepared! Susan is a great girl - Comes from a good family and is one of my cousins best friends. I adore her. I also know BMD'sPeanut. I grew up with her DH and my DH went to HS with her DH - but we discovered all that on LIW. I also know Boogiedmb's FH. He's part of my ski crowd. I met Kristin last week at a Christening . What a sweetie! And so tiny compared to her FH! I know oct2004bride, dm24angel, rainmama from GTG and we have developed friendships over the past year and a half. I know Kath, her fiancee is my DH's good friend of the family Tray831 is my friend from Kindergarden. She still makes me giggle like I am 5 sometimes!

I have met all the wonderful women at GTG and of course, the great group who helped me wrap my favors! Of course, so many have been so wonderful just chatting with on LIW. Smiley has been one of my best friends for many, many, many, many years now.

I didn't know anyone when I joined this site. Over the past year from chatting with everyone and going to a few GTG's I have made so many wondreful friends. I am so happy for this site and to have made wonderful new friends. I relate to so many people on so many levels. So come to the next GTG. You will love it. It is great to talk to people going through the same thing as you. Plus you are my weekend twin and Mittermax twin...haha.

I know a few of you gals from the GTG and the WOTY.
I know ladybug (kara) because I work with her, right down the hall!!!!! And I know an '06er, kellybride because I intern at the HS she works at.

I met a few people at a GTG but knew a couple beforehand, although most don't post that much on the board.
afb10304 - already friends with, I was in her wedding party duke - best friend since we're 6, each other's MOHs Liza - friends since we're 15, i'm in her BP MrsMadness - high school and we're also pseudo-related soontobekunz - went to high school with her FH, don't really know her personally (although we did have a run in last week ) amy0405 - not sure if she knows me but we went to high school toghter, i was friends with her younger brother bridegirl - just realized who each other were recently - we graduated high school together
I still think there are probably others but I haven't run into them yet.
