that I want her to cook all the food for my rehearsal dinner? i know its traditional for the groom's parents to host the rehearsal dinner but i decided that I want it to be at my parents house since its down the block from the church and bigger than FIL's house. plus FILs arent contributing any $$ to the wedding cuz they cannot. everyone loves her food, so i thought it would be a good way for them to contribute. i just dont know how to ask her!

'mom your food is so delish everyone would love it'
no better way to get something done than to grease a person over with ***-kissing.
'my future wife LOVES crabcakes/penne a la vodka/etc. oh and you should make ____ cuz i love that best'
etc.

Yeah, I would have FH ask, she will probably be flattered that you want to use her great cooking skills!

'Soooo MOG, you know how I LOVE the __________ you make, and everyone always RAVES about your food, well I was hoping maybe you'd cook for the RH, I'll help, it'll be a nice bonding experience for us.'

I'd have FH ask. Do you have any reason to believe she'd say no?

no not at all. i just dont want to be a burden and its kind of weird for her to cook but then we wont eat at her house, ya know? she'd bring it all in the tin thingies. but my family always invites them over for big dinners so there's no reason why she should think its a burden... i guess.
