So I have been thinking that I want to incorporate some art deco touches into the wedding..esp since everything I'm wearing has that sort of feel and my RH really lends itself to that feeling as well.
I was thinking of putting the placecards into small art deco-ish frames (haven't figure out where I'm getting these or if they even exist...) but I can't really come up with anything else. I wanted to do something in the centerpieces but then again I don't really want to spend more than $30-$40 on them and I don't want them to be big...the RH lends itself to quieter, smaller CPs.
Help!!!! Anyone have any ideas?? TIA!!

Ok, let's see if I can summarize...
I suggest doing table numbers with art-deco cut-outs -- like to actually cut the #s out of those sorts of pattern designs. Very fun / sorta a decoupage look!
There are plenty of cake examples out there for you to go by if you want to do an art deco cake as well.
I found a whole smattering of ideas just from doing a search for 'art deco' and wedding.
I think one of the most affordable ways to incorporate art deco into a CP is to include some feathers, perhaps.

My Mom suggested feather centerpieces to me after I posted this...I'd love to figure out some way do something like that without having it be overbearing

I would do subtle but obivous touches.....in the placecards, the menus, the invitations, the cake. You can always do simple floral centerpieces and jazz it up with everything else.
