I am not sure where to look. I don't really know anyone who will come to my home the day of the wedding and I don't want to spend that much money trying people out. What should I do?

also try maria (?) from concours d'elegance who's a vendor on this site. a bride recently posted pics from her hair trial w/maria and her hair looked amazing! i think the trial is free! (516) 204-3795

look in the vendors section of LIW. I'm using Jenn (hair genie) - she'll come to your house the day of.
ets: she charges $50 for a trial, $100 day of.

most of the make-up/ hair vendors come to the home where the bride is getting ready. I am using Jacqueline Nicole and Taralei and they are both coming to my home. They are not terribly expensive and they both do AMAZING work! I've heard Maureen Pedala (make-up artist) does great work-many LIW brides have used her and been very pricey and her trials (in NYC) are complimentary. Good luck! I have also spoken to Marie Katz (make-up) and she is a doll-she also comes to the bride's home.
