They are 6 and 8

This may be a silly question but why can't they walk down the aisle? Most 'ring bearers' don't really bear rings, they just walk down. I think the sons of the bride deserve to walk down, so long as it's okay with the groom.

I went to a wedding recently and she had trainbearers. It was really cute they followed behind her and held her train.

i am including my fh's two stepdaughters (12 & 17) by being bridesmaids plus during the unity candle lighting we are having them come up to the alter and light two single candles into our one.

I remember a necklace/charm that has the blending of two families from www.theprintedcandle.com or just printedcandle.com- I always forget. Anyway, never paid much attention to it b/c it doesn't apply to me- sorry. Maybe they can light candles. I also like the reading idea. Or you can have them walk you down the aisle.

THey could be bell ringers, just before the bride enters. THey could be mini groom men just like there are mini bride.

shirley i just realized you had your first kid when you were 17 years old, is this your first marraige your planning?
