How do we feel about....

ordering a veil online vs. going to Barrons?

I think i found a reputable (sp? it's early lol) website (occanseydesigns.com) and i've been communicating with them back and forth about quotes and stuff and so far they are very helpful and the price quote seems ok. They have a 5 star rating on projectwedding.com so I feel somewhat confident.

Thoughts?

I've actually heard of a lot of people ordering online for veils. I'm considering it. If they have a good rating and the price is right, I can't see the harm!

Some of the wedding veils online are so inexpensive, if you dont like it...just buy another one. it might be a waste of money, but at the sam time it could save you alot of money.

I was actually quoted $199 for my veil. (I think it's more $$ cuz i'm having a good amount of lace on it). Which is great compared to the $600 one that is made for my dress lol.

I'm assuming there's no return policy right? Well, I think if it's inexpensive enough and you love it, you should just order it.

Yeah no returns cuz it's custom. But if you get it and you find a damage or something like that you can exchange it and they'll pay for the postage.

not sure what to do w/this yet...
i was quoted $350 for my veil..... its a blusher fingertip w/crystals scattered over it....
even though i only plan on wearing it to church, i'm scared to order online....

aaah.... I didn't even think to ask them about a blusher.

After the 1st dance the veil is coming off.
hmm... I guess i'll go to Barron's first to at least get a quote.

my sister ordered her veil from ebay
it was a 2t veil but it had no detail. just a little trim on the end. it was perfect.

i got a very simple veil from the bridal shop where i bought my gown for $150 ... i wish i knew that i could order it on the internet ... but i was young and stupid back then (a few weeks ago)

As long as they're reputable online and have decent reviews, go for it. Make sure to look them up on the Better Business Bureau first though.

yea same here. i think i would need to see it first. just cause pics online can be deceiving...
