How do you guys make your own designs for your seating charts, labels, and things like that? I see so many of you make your own stuff but how do you make these designs and monograms? Is there a certain program I have to get on my computer? I have a few DIY projects I would like to do but need a pretty monogram design. Like for my seating chart, favor boxes, and my programs. Anyone mind sharing their creativity? Thanks, I really would like to try to do this stuff on my own and save some dough!

Play around with ms word for a monogram...I did mines in a beautiful font and added a text box around it then I overlapped it with our first names.
You can also download some flourishes or swirlies to add.

I made my monogram using PPT there is a video on youtube on how to create it...just google it. I see pics on here or google things, and just play around in word or publisher until I get something that I like

I'm also wondering this as well!! I did find a website called daFont, where you can download free fronts to use in word programs. I used this for a DIY project for my friends wedding. This would help with creating some of the projects you were talking about. Just preview the font before downloading incase there are any punctuation or numbers you need because not all of the fonts include those! HTH!

you can download a free trial and youtube has a ton of tutorials

I went on Etsy and had someone design one for me. They can give you any format you need
