How do you address children on invitations?
I have no inner envelope so it will appear on the outer envelope underneath their parents names.

Re: How do you address children on invitations?
Im not sure, we have an inner envelope and that is where we are addressing their names.
Maybe you could do:
The Smith Family
123 Main Street
Hicksville NY 11801
Just an idea, I dont know if thats proper

Ok, so maybe that wasnt the best suggestion....
You can just do
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
122 Cherry Hill
New York NY
And then on the response card do:
____ Adults ____ Children

i would add a line to the address with the childrens' first names:
mr. and mrs. john doe
thomas, jane, and ann
address, etc.

Re: How do you address children on invitations?
The recent question section in MS - Spring had this question posted inside.
Apparently you should not write '...and Family'
Instead you should do as Alex suggested:
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
John, Jane and Jim
123 Main Street
New York, New York 12345

On the outer:
Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
On the inner

Bobby and Jenny

This is correct. Be as specific as possible!

On the outer:
Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
On the inner
John and Mary
Bobby and Jenny
She doesnt have the inner, hence the question
