How do you attach a Mantilla veil to your head?

How do you attach a Mantilla veil to your head?

I am really considering using a Mantilla type veil! But I cannot for the life of me figure how it is attached to your head? Does anyone know where I can try this type of veil on? they do not seem to be in any stores??? help!!

I think it is attached with the same type of comb that any other veil uses, just the fabric falls off of the edge more so that it covers the sides of your face.

Do you know of any salons that carry them so that i can try it on to be sure. Most salons did not seem to have them!

I also am using a Mantilla veil..I tried a few in Bridal reflections in Carle Place..

I went to The Bridal reflection in Mass. and they did not have them!

I am wearing my mom's mantilla veil so I have not really gone veil shoppig, but I think that the following have mantilla style veils with the allencion lace pattern edging:
Priscilla of Boston (in Roslyn)
Wedding Salon of Manhasset (on Northern Blvd)
and Thomas Knowel (on boarder of Great Neck/Manhasset on Northern Blvd near Macy's)
Just call them first to make certain

Terrific! My dress has Alencon style lace on the bodice and on the bottom of the skirt! That is exactly what I wanted!! Thank you!

No but it is the Type that frames your face and usually has lace edging ! You usually do not wear it over your face!

This is it! I love it!! I will have the veil made to match the lace on my dress!!
