How do you clean...

your e-rings and how often?

i either use
-- jewelry cleaner
--toothpaste with a soft coth
--windex (i learned on here)
--stop in a jewelry store
--leave it on when i shower sometimes, heard shampoo can do the trick

i do it everytime i have to go somewhere special...party or wedding or what not or when i feel like it got alot of stuff on it that day

I either soak it in Jewlery cleaner or spray some Windex

I clean it almost everyday.

with the insurance FH took out on the ring, I get to have it cleaned professionally every 6 months but inbetween those cleanings i'm embarrassed to say that i don't clean it as often as i should. i'm really horrible at cleaning my jewelry and FH usually cleans it for me. I need to get better at this.

The jewelry store where FH bought my ring is MINUTES from my house so I stop in there once every couple of weeks or so.

PPpssst I still need to get my ring sized, the place where FH bought the ring sends it out FOR A WEEK for it to be sized and I'm unwilling to part with it ... yet. but I'm afraid if I bring it somewhere that will size it in front of me I'll void the warranty.

Every other month I get it steamed. I just had the prongs tightened last month and they polished it and everything. That was 6 months and it really did need it. It had ALOT of scratches!

i just soak it in a cup w/ water and liquid soap for a few minutes, and then take a toothbrush, dip it in the soapy/water mixture and clean the ring w/ it... i'm sure i'll get it steamed eventually

the place we got the ring from does it for nothing! Of course, its just a matter of finding the time to get there.

the espresso machine steam lol but I learned from you ladies on here about windex and it sure does make the ring shine the most, Thank you for sharing!

I boil water with a little DAWN and then put my ring in the boiling water. I let it sit for a few minutes and then use a toothbrush.

Works like a charm!!!

I am crazy- I clean mine a few times a week. I pour very little amonia into a drinking glass then put very hot water and let the ring soak while I am in the shower. It comes out like BRAND NEW!

i had to get mine resized when we were in vegas (where FH proposed). i left my ring overnight and was practically hysterical, i dont know how someone could last a week!
