Re: How do you clean your bathtub?
I spray with mildew spray as often as I can and then once in a while I fill the tub with hot water and bleach and let it sit for a bit (between cleanings). Usually, though, I just use some tile cleaner and scrub with a sponge.

I used Soft Scrub with a sponge, that usually gets the soap scum.

Soft scrub and a lot of scrubbing
Fiberglass cleaner is expensive but a miracle cleaner - just leave it on for a minute and wipe off.

I usually use that Kaboom stuff. Just spray it on and let it sit for a while than maybe rub it down with a sponge and rinse. I don't usually need to do much heavy scrubbing.

Scrubbing Bubbles..it is one of the few cleaners that are recommended by the manufacturer (since both my tubs are brand new I actually got all the paperwork with them that explains how to care for them).

Scrubbing Bubbles for me too, and I just recently got one of those Black & Decker scrubbers with all the brush and scrubber attachments. I used the sponge with the mesh that is for washing cars and it was GREAT! I have a deep whirlpool and the sliding glass doors (hate those things!) makes it hard to reach in, so this scrubber speeds the job up and makes it soooo much easier.

I have this too and it works great! Anything with bleach helps, especially with a dirty plumber of a husband!

Re: How do you clean your bathtub?
Karen, I have a whirlpool too and am so disappointed that it is nearly impossible to keep the jets clean between uses. I don't use the bath very often but find it so annoying and wasteful to have to fill the entire tub to clean the jets BEFORE taking a bath everytime, then refilling. Its disgusting the mold and yuck that builds in them just from the shower water getting trapped.
Do you know of any secrets? They should make plugs for them!
TO clean the tub normally, I spray with Scrubbing bubbles leave on for awhile then rinse and clean with Clorox Cleanup for tough water stains (very hard water).

Re: How do you clean your bathtub?
Someone recently told me she 'pops off' the faucet to clean in there. I am afraid if I try to pop mine off it will break - anyone ever do this?
