The list for the engadgement party?

We just did immediate family and bridal party w/significant others. That made 50 people!

The immediate family is huge..

My FMIL alone has 9 siblings..

So it adds up...
and no Kids...

Ugh!!

We can't now have a brunch bc they don't have the dates ready till june...

I need a HUGE hall where I can cater in food so then I can invite more and not have hurt feelings.. UGH!

yep, 200!! I had my e-party at the Fox Hollow..

You just have to cut it down.. no one's feelings will be hurt.. and if they are, they must understand that it's just for close family and friends, that's all..

We're having 100 people at the Chateau Briand for our e-party. We also kept the list to close friends and family for the e-party.

We had 125 people and we only invited close family and friends. FH has a huge family!

R&T - Where are you having yours? Did you decide?

I cut mine really small and had a small dinenr party in a restaurant of about 35 people. I didn't invite one friend of mine or DH (not even bridal party). We only invited family. FMIL wanted to keep adding and I think she was the only one who was upset that we cut the list. She wanted to invite her friends ... hey we didn't even invite our best friends why should she??? We just really wanted to keep it small. My brother had his in a catering hall and invited over 125 of just closest friends and family ..he had problems cutting his list too! It was a relatively good priced restaurant hall in Queens where my mom works as the maitre d. Forum mail me if you want to know more about the place.
