well it is whatever you prefer if you have a lot of beading or design on your dress...JMO... i would go with a plain veil and the length is what ever you want hope this helps

I agree... I thought I wanted edging or maybe pearls on mine, but when I tried on differnet ones, the plain one ended up looking the best. Take pictures of yourself in them and see which you like best.

Try them all on. I wanted a fingertip, but it ended up not looking good on me (vertically challenged). When you try it on you'll what feels right & what doesn't

i think i like this veil....but i also like the rhinestone veil....
either fingertip or elbow...
my dress is strapless white with beaded applique across the top part and scattered down the skirt.... my tiara has a lot of swaroski rhinestone and beading...
Try them all on. I wanted a fingertip, but it ended up not looking good on me (vertically challenged). When you try it on you'll what feels right & what doesn't
what do you mean vertically challenged? im no size 2 and it shows it in my hips... is there a lenght thats better for that?

It depends alot on your gown. If your gown is very ornate, you may want to stay away from a very decorative veil. If your gown is very simple, though, you might want a really special veil to complete the look.
I'm going to go with a pencil edge and scattered crystals because it goes best with my gown. I wanted fingertip length but my gown has long gorgeous bell (poet?) sleeves and the fingertip length just did not work because it competed with the sleeves.... so I'm getting an elbow length (and a cathedral for the ceremony)

I think it also depends on the style of the dress..my dress was halter and form fitting until the waist, I tried on so many veils and the ones that sat right where the dress got full made me look funny bodied, just a bit longer was PERFECT! I loved the cathedral veil, but it didnt look good with my gown AT ALL>. Good luck
