when someone hijacks your thread about something?

in all honesty sometimes i feel hurt because its like they are trying to take over the thread and your issue or whatever the thread you made up doesn't mean anything. but most of the time i guess if it is really not a important issue i am ok with it.

Okay, if it's somewhat related, or in the same spirit of the original topic, or if it's really funny.

I lose all interest in a thread if it's an asinine hijack on a totally unrelated subject.

I think it's natural for a thread to 'evolve'

I'm not too bothered when someone hijacks my thread. It's usually done in the best of spirits and is usually funnier than the intended subject!

Like i said in another thread....I agree that threads usually involve some sort of hijacking...I think pretty much EVERYONE has been involved in it at one point or another....So to point fingers at one person is silly.

AND if i really was annoyed by it....I WOULD SAY SOMETHING.

There are other things that are more annoying to me then hijacking...

I think when it's obviously intentional (trolls fakies, etc.) then I would be a little annoyed, but it's hard to just talk about one thing in a conversation with so many people included, so I don't really think about it. I try to be as considerate in my posts as possible, and if I am responding to numerous topics on the same thread, then I'll at least answer the original poster - just so I don't feel like I'm ignoring their post or using it as a jumping point for something else. I try not to take it personally when threads I start evolve into something else/ The way I see it, it's interesting to think that my post kicked off so much discussion, so I don't mind it at all.
