How Do You Feel About Pick Ups?

there are so many dresses i love that have pick ups but when i try them on i feel like i get lost in them. i think maybe because im short?

what are your opinions on pick ups? do you like them or no? do you think you will get a dress with them or more traditional?

well that depends on the dress...i had a pick up BM dress last year and they didnt come out but my friend's bm dresses were pick ups and they fell out cuz someone stepped on the dress

Exactly some come out and some don't if it is to long and you are stepping on them than they defiantely will

I actually thought i would have seen a lot more pick ups than i have because they are all over the place but most people are going for the more traditional dress

yea well i am only going by the reviews i am not wearing the dress until next june

if you do feel like they will come out you can ask the seamstress to re-inforce them, they will thread them up a little more, i know some girls have done that, but you should be ok

I think gatefolds are really pretty - i bought my set at michaels and they match my BM dress color exactly

Yeah it has pick ups, pretty much all the dresses that i tried on had pick ups because thats the style that i really liked and none of them looked bad, it was just waiting to get 'the dress' feeling

I AM ONLY 5' when I tried on a pick up I felt lost in it as well, not to mention that I looked like one of those cupcake dolls the elderly crochet, if you know what I mean. I went with more traditional and loved it. my dress did have alot of detail. pics are in my album.

i love pick ups i think they are so pretty...(i'm 5'6 (5'9 with heels..if we are going by height) my dress didn't end up having pick ups though but i may want to get it for my bridesmaids...i also love pocketfold invites i think they look classy and neat
