there are so many dresses i love that have pick ups but when i try them on i feel like i get lost in them. i think maybe because im short?
what are your opinions on pick ups? do you like them or no? do you think you will get a dress with them or more traditional?

they are the parts on the dress that pull it up a bit you can have them in the front or the back, if you look in my album that says my dress it has pick ups

I think no matter what dress you get chances are you will be saying what was I thinking. My friend got married back in 95, and I look back at her wedding pics and no way in H E L L would I ever wear the dress she had

i like them. i tried a dress with them and liked it. i'm 5'1 1/2. i think it depends on the dress.
as for the pocket folds being a fad?? i couldn't disagree more. what, is a standard flat invitation supposed to be the only one on the market? plus, how is paper a fad?

i tried on a maggie sottero dress w/ pick ups.. i thought it the dress was nice, but it didn't look nice on me.

I used to definitely want pick ups but then i felt like they were so overdone and i got lost in them too cuz im petite, and then i found my dress and it was so beautiful as it was that if it did have pick ups it would take away from the rest of the dress
