Neither my family or my fiance's family belong to a temple (my childhood one closed). So, I was wondering how you find a rabbi to officiate your wedding if you don't belong to a synagogue.
Thanks in advance!

Re: How do you find a rabbi?
If you are getting married at your RH, you could always ask them for recommendations.

Re: How do you find a rabbi?
I actually found ours through asking girls on here for recommendations. We're going with Rabbi Howard Beuchler of the Dix Hills Jewish Center. He's conservative, passionate and absolutely amazing! I'm not sure what you're looking for, but if you'd like someone a little more traditional then you definitely need to check him out! HTH!

Re: How do you find a rabbi?
I went on-line and made some appointments to meet with different rabbis. You'll know if they are a good fit for you and your hubby to be. We went with Rabbi Stein.

Re: How do you find a rabbi?
Rabbi Howard Beuchler is not available for my day. Does anyone have other recommendations...I prefer consrvative rabbis and someone who cares to customize what they say to your wedding.
