How do you get to work?

I'm closing the poll since I screwed it up --
but what's your way of getting there?

I'm stuck on the TRAIN. I hate the LIRR and now Metro North. URGH

when I lived and worked in the city I walked

I hate the the train

walk, metro north, subway, walk.

The only think that would make it more fun was if I had to drive or take the bus to the Metro North.

We were thisclose to moving to a town where I would have had to take a bus to metro north. So relieved that it didn't happen.

Are you in CT or Westchester? We may be moving somewhere where' Id haveto take the bus or drive to the Metro North. It is just so limiting ( & expensive) to be within walking distance of the railroad.

Really, I'm in Westchester too. I like it for the most part though.
I'm in Scarsdale, (but the part that is really Eastchester)

I walk! I live 15 blocks from where I work - one of the only *perks*!

lucky! i drive to the train station, take the LIRR for about 1 hour, and then take the subway...

Before I got married, I lived in Queens. I paid $217 a month just to ride the LIRR because I just couldn't take the subway anymore (the metrocard was only $70 a month). To take the subway, I had to drive to a bus stop, get on a bus, get to the subway, ride that smelly stinky iron horse for 40 minutes, then walk to work after getting off the train. Now that I'm in NJ, I can honestly say, I do NOT miss the subway. Blessings to all the subway riders.

Just one skate? So random and you must be quite tiny...I would think an entire board would be necessary...
