I am new to this, but find it so addicting! You guys seem to know each other so well... I feel left out I am going to have to start signing on from work to get to know everyone! You all just know each other from this site?

I don't know anyone here personally..but i feel like i do! Some of the girls do know each other though. When i first started coming on i felt the same way... don't worry before you know it you'll be totally ****** in and you'll start referring to LIW like it's a cult..lmao!!! Aw! I remember that feeling! You just have to barge in and make people talk to you. That's what I did. Some of the girls have been on so long and have been to get togethers and stuff. I just know everyone from posting. I haven't actually met anyone aside from one other bride who we realized our fhs grew up in the same neighborhood. You'll become a regular don't worry!

I just know everyone from posting. I think some girls have met in person, but bnasically if you're a regular poster you all just get to know each other.

the more you post the more people will know who you are, and the more you will talk to people.
You will see that girls who have very high post counts are very very active on the boards so they are just always talking to eachother

I have over 3,000 posts and I still feel like that but I think it's because I don't attend GTG (get togethers) and I didn't post my name or pic.......but you'll get to know everyone once you start posting more. Welcome to the boards

I feel the same way. I love this site, and am totally addicted, but I don't really have a personal connection with anyone -- I still feel like the kid looking for someone to sit with in the cafeteria sometimes.

i dont know anyone on here personally either, but since everyone is so helpful and compassionate it' hard not to feel as if we all know each other offline.
alot of 08ers have been on here planning their weddings together for over a year so that adds to it

i don't know anyone here either well in the sense of knowing them.. but this is sooo addictive and all the girls were so friendly and helpful.. so it was very easy to warm up to all..
i sometimes feel like this is a hugeeeeee slumber party.. just need some wine going..
