How do you hang the dress once you have it?

if you have the dress all pressed and steamed for more than a few days before the wedding, where do you keep it?

I have a problem since I am getting ready at home and FH and I live together. If I can't take my dress home the day before, any suggestions how to store it while it's out of the garment bag?

(I have a very small walk in closet)

It should be hung high like from the ceiling.... but that doesn't sound like an option. Most places I think should let you wait till the day before.

I hope so!! I want my dress here at home, but not many places I could store it!

maybe I can have FH put one of those hooks in the ceiling in the closet so when I do get it, I can hang it in there

I hung mine from the back of a closet door, on a hook. It was off the floor that way. I live with DH, so I left it in the bag until the night before when he did not see it. It didn't get wrinkled, but my dress was pretty simple.

Also, if you have a steamer, you can steam it beforehand, and get out any small wrinkles created by the bag.

My sister left her dress at my parent's house, hung from a hook in the ceiling that they usually used for a plant. Good luck!
