How many programs to order? Do you just do a percentage of guests since some guests don't go to the church?

you just make an educated guess out of who is coming to your wedding
we had 160 yes RSVPs....we made 100 programs which was MORE than enough!
remember, there will be ppl that werent invited to the wedding that will come and see you get married in the church!! like friend's parents and stuff

DH and everyone else seemed to not like that idea... and since the wedding was at the RH as well. Everyone told me to make the number that we were expecting... I would have happily only did a percentage... but surprisingly unless my MIL has like 30 more then she's admitting to they were all used... and I have 3? and my parents prolly have a a couple so it wasn't too bad.

We got married at the reception hall so all my guests were at the ceremony. I made 90 programs for 108 guest. I figure couples can share one but NO! They did not share! The last 18 people did not get programs. Also, some of my little cousins took 2 or 3 programs and were playing with them.

exactly.... friends and family told me not to assume that couples will share and to just make the correct amount... it really depends on if you know your guests well enough to know what they'll do.

the coordinator at my ceremony site and RH told me that i should make 1/2 the number of guests. so if i invited 120, i'd make 60. she said they often share, it's really not as sentimental to people as you may think and that if you make 1 per person, it's a total waste. so i'm making about 1/2. HTH!
