How do you know if...

you've found the perfect dress? I tried a dress on today and I love it! I feel beautiful, and it's a great price. BUT everyone says you 'just know', I feel like this is 'the one', and I've tried on 15 dresses so far. Did everyone get hit w/ 'the one' feeling right away, or did you go back after trying others on? Thanks for your help! Continued success

Heather.... I never felt it was THE DRESS but it was (long)

I never had that 'This is THE DRESS' feeling and was getting quite anxious about deciding because I liked different features about several dresses. I was so grateful when I was at a shop here in Boston that was like an old salon from the 50`s and the bridal attendant I was working with pointed out that not everyone has an instantaneous moment when they know it`s the perfect dress, and that I was being much more analytical in terms of wanting a certain type of skirt, bodice, lace, etc. I felt so much better after that. In my mind, I kept returning to 2 or 3 dresses I`d tried on, and it seemed to be one that was always in the forefront. I loved the way it felt, the way I looked in it and the color, fabrics and lace. The only concern in my mind was that I had always envisioned a lacy skirt and this was plain organza. Finally, I realized that every other dress was being compared to this one, and I did feel like a princess in it. The neckline and bodice were beautiful and I realized that they would be showing most in the pictures, not a lacy skirt. That`s the dress I chose and I was completely and totally satisfied with my choice. I never did have a 'THE DRESS' moment, but I did have the feeling that I had chosen a dress that was beautiful and would make me look and feel like a beautiful bride. So if you love it and the price is good, go for it!!!!

How do you know if...

It actually was one of the first dresses I tried on, but I spent the next month running around trying more! I kept thinking about that one dress, so I knew that was it.

I felt the same way

I tried on a few and then tried one that I just had a feeling about, it was so me. But still, I tried on about ten more after that because I wasn't sure but I never got that same feeling. So I went back tried it on again about 2 months later and even though I was so jaded by then because I had seen so many (after a while you don't LOVE anything) I still loved it and I bought it that day.
