I know you are supposed to break your wedding shoes in but how do you know if they are even going to be comfortable. If they are not then what, do you have to buy new one's b/c you can't return the one's you have worn?

Re: How do you know if the shoe's are comfortable?
I am probably the odd one out here but I bought regular shoes, not 'bridal' shoes for the wedding. I actually have almost the same ones in black. They are made by Mudd and they are very comfortable.

I had the same problem the other day when my shoes came from bridesave.com. They were very pretty but the slightest bit too small. And when I called the lady said that you can't return them worn. I am just going to break them in. Maybe take it to the shoe repair and have it stetched a little.

Start breaking them in but wear white socks over them.

I didn't get shoe's yet b/c I am affraid to buy them and have them kill my feet, even if they are broken in, my luck they will just be really uncomfortable, but I will do the sock thing when I get it, thanks!!

I know my shoes are going to be uncomfortable. They were so pretty though and matched my dress perfectly that I had to get them. I bought slippers and I am going to get sneakers as well to have as back-ups at the reception!!

If you absolutely can't wear them, you can always sell them on e-bay and buy another pair. But a shoe repair can definitely stretch them a little if that's all you need.

Re: How do you know if the shoe's are comfortable?
I was just a bridesmaid in a wedding and i have to say, the best thing I bought for that wedding was a pair of Isotoner Satin Slippers. They come in White, black and pink, and they were SO comfy, I danced all night in them. It was so painful to have to put back my other shoes to go home (it was snowing)... they were comfortable and stayed on (elastic). no one will see them, especially under a wedding dress!
