If it is fitting properly over your knuckle and you don't think it will if it is any smaller you should get sizing balls put in.

I would go with the sizers that they can weld to the inside because if you bring it down too much, when your fingers swell, it will be a trial to get it on or off. I don't have size 3 fingers lol but mine are a size 4 and my rings spins a little. Just happens if you have fingers that are narrow at the base.

I wouldnt get it any smaller. I would have balls put in the inside of your ring so that it doesnt roll to the side and fits better. If later in life your fingers get bigger it is easy to have the balls removed.

i had to get my ering a half size smaller than I measured because it is top heavy and was constantly spinning. The same thing could be true for you!

If it fits over your knuckle I would leave the size alone. I know that for me my rings are bit looser when the weather is colder. However in the summer I can barley get my rings on. Just keep that in mind for those hot, humid, summer days.

I am so jealous of you tiny fingered girls. My ring size is a 6 1/4. I have such big hands for my body.
When my FI gave me my ring it was to small. He knows I wear small sized clothing but he didnt know my fingers were big.

I would get the balls for the inside of the ring too, because that is what I did my ring was too big when FH gave it to me so instead of cutting the ring I just put the ring balls put in and now it fits like a glove.

I bought a ring that is as you described. It's OK. It hasn't gotten lost yet (been engaged for 1.5 yrs). I'm going to get a smaller wedding band. In the summer, it fits just fine.

I received my engagement ring today. Before ordering, I measured at 3.5, but the now that I've received the ring itself, it seems like it may be just a teensy bit too loose. (Yes, I have freakishly bony fingers.)

There is resistance when I over the knuckle when I remove it, but if I fling my hand around really hard, it will eventually come off. I should note that the flinging is really intense and not of a level anyone sane would do in real life.

That said, the stone slightly droops to the side through normal movement.

The other rings I wear on that same finger has ranged from 3 to 4, and they all fit, so going off of prior experience doesn't help.

If I get a smaller size, should I go all the way down to 3 or go to 3.25? The seller does offer 1/4 sizes.

TIA.

Can you maybe get sized at a jewelry store before ordering?? When I got my ring re-sized I went to the guy that made it and had him advise me on what to do. He actually told me I should get a size 3, but I told him I was uncomfortable making it that tight so he made it a 'full' size 3. I'm not too sure what that means, I think it's just slightly bigger than a 3...so even when my fingers swell it still fits comfortably.
