Personally for me it's a little much but it's up to you! If you like it, go for it

I agree, but if you like it, do it. It is your wedding

Little too much for me..but you have to like it. I thought you were talking about the actual picture of the cake with the decorations...

Is that supposed to be a pumpkin carriage? It looks like alot. You want to draw attention to the cake but not take away from other things. But if you like it do it.

I think it's really pretty, but do you think it'll take attention away from how pretty you will be?

eta: I just realized it was over the cake, and not the bride and groom table...hmmm, if you like it, go for it.

It reminds me of a prom not a wedding.

It's not my style - seems like a little bit too much just for a cake table - but hey, it's your wedding, and if that's what you like, then go for it!

I think it will definitely bring a lot of attention to the cake table, which is important because not all cakes are huge and you want to make sure people see it.

I think though that it might be a little too much in terms of size. If you're just looking to draw guests' attention to the cake table, you could have a lot of candles around it or something. I saw one picture that was kind of nice -- it has 2 roman columns (about 6-7 feet high) with swags of fabric and then the cake underneath it.

ETA: found the picture. Maybe without the twinkle lights or so much swag around the cake table, but you get the idea.

Go with what you like. I have found if you ask for opinions, expect people to offer their opinions, like and dislike.

I have stopped asking.

Go with what will make you and your FI happy the day of!!!
